What You'll Do/Need

The Senior Compensation Analyst leads and develops a variety of subject matter experts in analyzing, maintaining and creating compensation plans and reports. This person will also focus on growing and developing team members and managing projects on a day-to-day basis.


  • Completes job evaluations, salary surveys, comparative market benchmark studies, complex trend analysis and audits for leadership by providing final analysis and recommendations
  • Leads a variety of compensation projects as assigned, including but not limited to annual merit process, budget/position control analysis and tracking, compensation analysis as requested and cost analysis for compensation programs
  • Researches, analyzes, designs, implements, and administers compensation policies and programs
  • Works with cross-functional teams and leadership to understand business goals; provide research, analyses and recommendations; and implement new approaches, guidelines and processes to drive continual improvement in our compensation programs
  • Advises leaders and mentors other compensation analysts on programs with regard to policy and regulatory compliance issues
  • Provides final analyses for annual salary ranges, salary increase guidelines and budget recommendations
  • Develop and administer long-term incentive plans


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business administration, finance, human resources or the equivalent
  • Seven years of demonstrated compensation experience
  • Experience with implementing human resources information systems
  • Superior analytical and modeling skills with the ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data, such as base pay, variable incentives and equity plans
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Proven track record of driving projects to 100% completion, on schedule and to stakeholder satisfaction
  • Strong project management skills with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including several years of experience with pivot tables, indexing, VLOOKUP and other advanced formulation
  • Experience and comfort with working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Excellent math skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
