What You'll Do/Need

As a business sales and development team member, you'll help Rocket Fiber market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing client relationships. The position will help achieve new sales results in the market and develop revenue-producing relationships with clients. The business sales and development team member will help develop new products and assist in designing solutions to solve client requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Execute business development, offer positioning and sales strategies as a member of the sales team
  • Achieve lead generation, prospecting and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with clients
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for all opportunities, including initial client communication, onsite presentations, RFI response, RFP submission, negotiation and deal signing
  • Work in close collaboration with the presales and delivery teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet clients' business and technology needs

Requirements

  • Experience building customer solutions and technical argumentation
  • Experience building customer business cases, differentiation, positioning and value propositions
  • Strong understanding of networks and network equipment
  • Strong understanding of telecom operators business, business processes, industry players and business trends
  • Good sales and relationship skills
  • Three years of experience with two or more of the following OSS/BSS systems: wholesale/retail billing, charging, CRM, assurance, order management, inventory, provisioning and activation, product and service catalog
