What You'll Do/Need

Quicken Loans is changing the way people think about, obtain, and service their home loans / mortgages.   As a Director of Product Management, you have deep passion for the art of product development and for serving and mentoring others. We’re seeking a talented leader who will elevate our delivery and consistency of service while amazing our Clients.  The ideal candidate is a passionate, yet pragmatic, visionary that can enchant others and propose new solutions.



  • Accountable for the overall user experience and financial success of our Relationship Extension products inclusive of products supporting our clients’ after they close on a mortgage loan as well as vendors whom extend the client experience during the mortgage process (e.g. real estate agents, title companies, etc.)
  • Owns delivery of product strategy and drives vision sufficient to building and maintaining alignment between products and services within the Relationship Extension vertical
  • Has a constant pulse on product performance and can react to market dynamics with new opportunities and tactics to ensure continuous growth
  • Creates and shares visual product roadmaps which drive organizational consensus and support
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams (servicing, business development, creative, marketing, operations, and legal) for product strategies and execution
  • Maps goals to high-level initiatives in order to measure progress and ensure product features are delivering unique value for the business
  • Determines, in consultation with other Product Development Leaders, the team’s objectives, policies, and processes
  • Hire, lead and develop a team of 5 to 8 product managers ensuring continuity of client experience while fostering trust and mentoring career objectives and professional development
  • Manages capabilities of the team to develop and maintain a long term view. Ensures there are adequate resources and tools, and is responsible for maintaining and improving the team’s knowledge and expertise
  • Ensures an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment by motivating, challenging, and coaching team members towards growth
  • Have a keen awareness of trends -- consumer feedback, industry and competitor activity -- in order to recommend research and bulletproof strategies to help facilitate product innovation
  • Understand corporate strategies and align the development of products to support
  • Formulate and implement longer term vision/direction/strategy for related products: maximizing value to the business while inspiring and contributing to cross-organizational strategy and product teams working on innovations and breakthroughs 


  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years product development leadership / team management experience.
  • Experience with large-scale consumer and internal user technology products – web and mobile apps.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and problem solving skills.
