What You'll Do/Need

The Rock Security Command Center Shift Leader will supervise Command Center operations and delegate work to team members, in addition to providing threat assessment and risk analysis and completing research. The Shift Leader will provide leadership and direction to team members and provide real-time information to decision-makers.

Responsibilities 

  • Supervise Rock Security Command Center shift operations and operate the Command Center
  • Ensure that documents that will be sent to leadership are peer-reviewed and then sent in an
  • accurate and timely fashion
  • Delegate work that comes in through the Command Center email box
  • Work on special projects as assigned by the Command Center Director
  • Send out certain documents for distribution in the absence of the Director
  • Supervise the gathering of information from multiple open-source intelligence locations, such as the internet, social and traditional media, cable television, government agencies and purchased services
  • Assist in providing threat assessment and risk analysis for Rock Holdings Inc. and its asset portfolio
  • Document and route management-related calls and/or provide general assistance using prescribed protocols
  • Provide research and record gathering of information that has the potential to threaten Rock Holdings Inc.’s personnel, physical assets, image or reputation or those of other stakeholders
  • Communicate gathered intelligence to leaders within the organization and to specifically identified stakeholders
  • Perform record input using the Microsoft Office suite, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
  • Perform Web-based research using browsers such as Microsoft Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari

Requirements 

  • At least two years of experience working in a command or intelligence center
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Understanding of the effects of security on business operations
  • Demonstrated skill with the use of computers and software, such as email, databases,
  • spreadsheets, Web-based applications and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to manage information and technical security programs
  • Ability to communicate with Rock Holdings Inc. personnel at all levels while conveying a consistently professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be a positive and effective team member
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects simultaneously
