What You'll Do/Need

The Licensing Specialist works closely with our Brokerage Services team and is responsible for acting as a liaison between state licensing departments, while providing first-class client service during the licensing process. This team member works on the Legal team and assists in maintaining a nationwide presence that continues to grow rapidly. The Legal team is an integral part of the overall risk management function at In-House Realty.


  • Assist Brokerage Services Agents in obtaining new real estate agent licenses and renew existing licenses
  • Gather relevant information and documentation necessary to ensure compliance with licensing guidelines
  • Provide follow-up correspondence to brokerage services agents, third parties and/or network agents via phone or email
  • Work with various vendors to schedule broker-agent continuing and preliminary education courses, exams, follow-up for completion and reporting
  • Maintain and update our broker-agent databases
  • Prioritize and complete licensing tasks by state-imposed licensing deadlines and requirements 
  • Coordinate with the Director of Licensing and General Counsel any necessary escalated licensing matters 
  • Manage the search network of participating network agents to ensure compliance with all MLS agreements 
  • Communicate directly with local real estate boards, associations and MLSs nationwide

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
