Who We Are

StockX is the world’s first online consumer “stock market of things” for high-demand, limited edition products. Participants buy and sell authenticated products in a live marketplace where they anonymously trade with stock market-like visibility. The StockX exchange offers buyers and sellers historical price and volume metrics, real-time bids and offers (asks), time-stamped trades, individualized portfolio tracking and metrics, as well as in-depth market analysis and news. StockX launched its inaugural marketplace in the secondary sneaker space with plans to expand to additional consumer product segments that have a natural need for a live secondary market.

What You'll Do/Need

We’re seeking a passionate leader to help us continue to disrupt the e-commerce landscape. The Vice President of Marketing is part our leadership team and plays a valuable role in scaling the StockX business. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with the ability to combine the art and science of marketing into a clear, cohesive brand strategy. The VP of Marketing has significant experience nurturing and growing brands to high levels of awareness and affinity among customers and can think creatively about how to use the power of TV, digital and social media, and any other type of media that will drive attention, customer loyalty and revenue to StockX. This person has a "roll up your sleeves" mindset, knows how to win and leads by example. As a proven leader, they have extensive experience managing and developing teams in consumer businesses and in establishing, overseeing and driving successful programs. This person has a thorough knowledge of marketing automation platforms and can help us build upon, automate and improve our strategies and operations to increase market reach and, ultimately, conversion to revenue.



  • Develop a clear branding strategy for StockX
  • Guide our content strategy across multiple verticals into a cohesive brand experience
  • Be the brand ambassador and stewardship leader for the company
  • Work with customer acquisition, search and data teams on customer lifecycle segmentation and
  • communication strategy
  • Create and execute a recurring schedule of campaigns to build our brand and create demand (We want fans!)
  • Create a retention strategy using personalization to drive loyalty, repeat visits and further engagement
  • Craft an innovative strategic marketing plan that leverages the assets of StockX (the customer database, celebrity investors, StockX TV, etc.)
  • Continuously explore alternative methods of creating awareness of StockX as the “Stock Market of Things” with new and existing customers
  • Contribute to the evolution of an outstanding mobile customer experience
  • Develop strategies to engage customers in other countries
  • Oversee the allocation of the marketing budget
  • Support consumer research on future growth areas for the business


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing)
  • Ten years of experience in consumer marketing leadership roles
  • Experience working for and scaling early-stage consumer-facing e-commerce businesses
  • Results-driven, hands-on mentality and a demonstrated passion for the business and the industry
  • Proven track record of developing, managing and mentoring a team
  • Experience establishing a brand framework with a cohesive content strategy using creative and
  • innovative techniques
  • Expertise with marketing automation, customer relationship management, web analytics and multichannel marketing
  • Expertise in leading social media campaigns and strategies
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Strong analytical skills
