What You'll Do/Need

The Production Scheduler supports production operations for Xenith LLC, a designer and developer of innovative sports helmet technology. This team member will ensure that the production plant has a clear understanding of orders, their quantity, deadlines and other relevant details. The Production Scheduler makes sure that players have their gear by tracking orders and that promised shipping dates and service levels are maintained. Xenith is a member of the Quicken Loans Family of Companies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish production plans, in conjunction with supporting departments, to ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved
  • Perform daily reviews of orders in all system batches to identify changes in status to make sure that orders efficiently flow through our system
  • Review daily back orders and schedule production to fulfill requirements
  • Prioritize orders on a hot list, in conjunction with Customer Service
  • Generate paint schedule and process system transactions associated with paint and coated facemasks
  • Create purchase orders for paint supplies and miscellaneous outsourcing requirements
  • Monitor and coordinate changeover of material for all model and part number changes through close coordination with Inventory Analysts and Production Support Managers
  • Work with Customer Service and Inventory Analysts to resolve issues with order configurations
  • Coordinate with Production, Accounting and Customer Service to ensure process is maintained and followed   

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel on an intermediate to advanced level 
  • Maintains strong analytical skills
  • Keeps a high attention to detail 
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is a proactive team player who is well organized and can prioritize critical tasks 
  • Can multitask and be flexible during times of change

  • Knowledge of production leadership or supply chain practices
