What You'll Do/Need

The Wireless Project Manager manages the operational and tactical aspects of projects to ensure that initiatives are delivered on time and within specifications. This team member forecasts, manages and delivers successful projects.




  • Understand system requirements and the functionality of the target system
  • Support the certification of wide-ranging point-to-point and multipoint wireless products in the unlicensed and licensed spectrum
  • Support testing of a wide variety of products with U.S. carrier networks
  • Handle failure reproduction, defect fixing and root cause analysis
  • Contribute to project planning and design decisions



  • Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
  • Five years of wireless telecom development project management experience, specifically site wireless leasing, zoning, construction and site modification experience
  • Experience in wireless survey, engineering and process engineering, including meeting FCC and other governmental regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Linux kernel and network device drivers
  • Good understanding of multithreading and inter-process communication
  • Ability to work with peers, carriers and testing labs to achieve project, personal and team goals
  • Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with customers
  • Willingness to do some travelling

What’ll Make You Special


  • Experiences in wireless technologies such as 802.11, GSM/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA, CDMA/EVDO and LTE
  • Knowledge of M2M concepts and experience in development
  • Ability to develop and debug embedded software for products written in C/C++ in a Linux environment
