Stock X is looking for a resourceful, energetic, and people-savvy VP of People and Culture to work directly with our leadership team to own all aspects of human resources management for our hyper-growth business. This sharp-minded individual will help us build systems, programs, and solutions to ensure we attract and retain the best talent and position our company as an employer of choice. Setting the strategy to recruit, develop, and retain outstanding talent to ensure people are a key source of competitive advantage
Facilitate discussions with leadership team on scaling organizational structure
Help position our brand as an employer of choice in the market
Partner with leaders to understand and anticipate hiring and development needs against the capabilities needed to deliver business objectives
Build scalable learning and organizational development programs that support our growing team’s capabilities and drive retention
Implement scalable solutions around making our leaders better managers and develop programs that prepare high potential team members for their next role
Use data to help us continue to provide an outstanding culture and workplace environment for our team members
Provide advice, guidance, and coaching to leadership, managers, and employees, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
Develop and implement on-boarding mechanisms to ensure early and sustained employee engagement.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support organizational objectives
Help us plan fun teambuilding events that drive collaboration.
Coordinate all team member related internal investigations; coach and support managers in developing consistent ways of dealing with team member crises and holding staff to the highest standards and accountability.
10+ years direct Human Resources and / or People Operations experience with 5+ years’ leading teams (HR, Talent Acquisition, People Ops) in high growth companies.
Possess functional expertise in performance management, organization design, change management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, engagement and recognition programs, recruitment and staffing, training, and leadership/management development including succession planning.
Effective HR business partner to leaders across a variety of functional areas as well as demonstrated capability to interface and maintain strong relationships across the organization. An outstanding leader of people with well-developed teambuilding and influencing skills; unquestioned integrity; and the experience, confidence, and stature to address sensitive HR issues. She or he will be forthright, receptive, helpful, expert, and persuasive throughout all levels of the organization
Broad understanding of functional components of HR, including compensation, recruitment/retention, training/staff development, organizational development, and office technology.
Excel at helping the leadership team develop and hone their people-management capabilities. Empower managers to build and foster great teams.
Capable of flying high and being a strategic player in one breath and flying low and diving deep the next.
