What You'll Do/Need

This is a highly collaborative position working with the Quicken Loans Brand Campaign team. The Senior Copywriter creates concepts and writes copy for all creative assets supporting current and future brand campaigns, including broadcast scripts, print ads, social ads, marketing emails and other digital marketing assets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, content strategists, creative strategists and other copywriters to concept and craft creative work to support campaign initiatives
  • Attend kick-off meetings and review creative briefs to deliver distinct and impactful copy;  work with a Creative Strategist in order to refine the final creative product, which you’ll pitch to high-level business stakeholders for approval
  • Think big and craft ambitious creative with other members of the Creative team
  • Check and critique copy to ensure quality and tracking from objective to action
  • Take an active role in the development of junior team members, in partnership with the team leader

Requirements

  • Experience writing for broadcast, print, social and other digital media
  • Work samples demonstrating a variety of writing skills and a high level of conceptual and
  • objective-based creativity
  • Strong ability to collaborate with designers, strategists and business partners to create and
  • execute work
  • Ability to successfully pitch work to high-level business stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with AP Stylebook rules
  • Ability to quickly adapt and apply skills to multiple media and various business segments
  • Agility to adapt to sudden and pressing needs based on external business and market conditions
