What You'll Do/Need


  • Managing month end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Review and provide variance analysis for actual v. budget, including working with other departments to understand their monthly activities and make conclusions for accruals and reforecasting.
  • Manage Sales and Use tax reconciliations, calculations, accruals, and payments.
  • Assist with Cash Flow Management.
  • Managing Xenith’s fixed assets, including depreciation, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Mentor other Accounting team members in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to help grow and strengthen their Accounting knowledge and ensure accurate processes are followed in accordance to GAAP.
  • Ensure control over processes and procedures to assure that financial results are reported timely and accurately.
  • Evaluate internal controls and business processes to identify process improvements.
  • Assist with interaction & coordination of the annual audit review, physical inventory counts, and other audits as they are periodically scheduled.
  • Assist Controller and/or Leadership Team with special projects as needed.



  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Five or more years related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively interact with peers, external customers, and Leadership Team
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Possess a “get it done” attitude
