What You'll Do/Need

The Compensation Consulting Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of compensation consultants in their work with business stakeholders, developing team members’ capabilities and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Compensation team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of five compensation consultants aligned to one or more business area or companies
  • Apply compensation best practices (compensation and job evaluation, market pricing/competitive positioning, salary structure maintenance, compensation design cycle management, compensation analytics, salary survey participation, etc.)
  • Champion and model highest standards of ethical conduct and decision-making for team members
  • Support the professional growth of Compensation Consultant team members
  • Understand and provide feedback to team member on their learning and development opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with other leaders, while contributing to achieving the team’s short- and long-term goals
  • Ensure successful and timely achievement of team goals through planning, prioritization and execution

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Five or more years of experience designing, executing and supporting compensation programs in a complex, large-scale setting
  • Analytical, evidence-based approach to compensation design and decision-making
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compensation best practices and approaches
  • Experience leading and developing teams of compensation professionals
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; executive presence and credibility
