What You'll Do/Need

The Talent Strategist is responsible for identifying passive talent for the Quicken Loans Family of Companies. The Talent Strategist is like a "private investigator" for the company – proactively seeking out and engaging the best industry talent.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and candidate qualifications
  • Specialize in development and implementation of creative sourcing strategies and passive candidate recruiting to fill immediate hiring needs, in addition to generating a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities
  • Identify and participate in networking opportunities or community events that relate to assigned teams and positions 
  • Review résumés, conduct initial candidate screenings to ensure that candidates qualify for the position, and develop candidates’ interest in career opportunities at the Quicken Loans Family of Companies
  • Communicate candidate profiles and credentials to recruiters and hiring leaders
  • Maintain pipelines for all assigned positions and teams by creating and fostering high-touch relationships with top prospects
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting team to understand hiring needs, develop and improve sourcing strategies, and obtain feedback, including participating in meetings with Recruiters and hiring managers as needed
  • Create a fantastic candidate experience
  • Use networks, centers of influence, and innovative, cutting-edge recruiting and sales tactics to identify, develop and recruit talent or customers

 

Requirements

  • Two years of recruiting experience with a focus on passive sourcing of candidates for various positions
  • Up-to-date knowledge of innovative sourcing methodologies and a strong track record of networking externally
  • Ability to effectively reach out to candidates who are currently employed, are not actively seeking employment, and may not have expressed interest in or be familiar with the Quicken Loans Family of Companies
  • Ability to influence and persuade others as well as to build strong relationships and networks
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding goals in a recruiting role
  • Proven record of using networks, centers of influence and innovative, cutting-edge recruiting and sales tactics to identify, develop and recruit talent or customers
  • Polished image, self-motivation and resourcefulness
