What You'll Do/Need

The Sales and Sports Marketing Rep for Chicago helps grow Xenith’s direct-to-team sales channel. This individual manages a geographic territory, generating leads and building and nurturing relationships with current and future customers while generating sales growth along the way.  



  • Manage customer relationships within a designated territory while identifying opportunities to grow the business, with the athlete at the center of decision-making
  • Deliver programs, pricing and sales presentations on an ongoing basis to Xenith partners (players, coaches, parents and decision-makers)
  • Build, monitor and manage Xenith leads and its sales pipeline with hyper vigilance
  • Utilize sales tools, materials and assets to enhance the sales process and exceed sales goals
  • Engage with sales reporting and data to better understand your market and customers
  • Distribute content and marketing materials to the customer base to ensure consistent branding and product communication
  • Provide outstanding customer service to every customer, every time
  • Develop industry expertise and product knowledge to serve as a resource for your Xenith Community
  • Drive and execute regional and local grassroots marketing campaigns to get in front of as many coaches, players and parents as possible
  • Identify and attend high-impact football events, including tradeshows, clinics, camps, shop nights and any other event where we can reach our customers
  • Create an event calendar to manage the schedule and foster visibility
  • Provide post-event recaps to determine the value of the event and help guide future grassroots marketing strategies
  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers, coaches and teams while building a pipeline of sales and growing the Xenith brand
  • Manage regional and local sales and marketing budgets to optimize output and drive sales



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Business-to-business sales and/or grassroots marketing experience
  • Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Tendency to be highly organized with a team-oriented, can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain a customer-first attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
