What You'll Do/Need

The Marketing Strategy Specialist assists in the development of integrated marketing programs for Quicken Loans. If you are a highly motivated, organized individual with relevant experience and a strong desire to win, then this career is for you!

The Marketing Strategy Specialist’s goal is to help develop and implement well thought out and strategic marketing plans for assigned programs. Success will be measured by return-on-investment metrics, as well as overall execution of the plan. This person will report to a Marketing Director and collaborate with senior leadership and marketing, technology and business intelligence teams, as well as outside partners and vendors. This person must have incredible communication skills, be able to adapt to and work with various personalities, and see challenges as opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Use quantitative (marketing analytics) and qualitative (usability/survey) insights to identify areas for improvement; adjust marketing projects accordingly
  • Develop and implement integrated, cross-channel marketing projects in order to increase brand awareness, mortgage inquiries and return on investment
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to conceive, develop and execute projects that will support the marketing plan
  • Monitor overall project results and present results to marketing and company leadership
  • Stay abreast of the latest online and offline marketing strategies and tactics to help grow our business
  • Monitor the competitive landscape inside and outside of our industry; identify and drive new ideas

Requirements

  • One year of project/program management with specific experience in successfully developing and managing marketing projects
  • Hands-on, professional experience with cross-channel marketing strategy, planning and execution
  • Organized self-starter who can work independently, execute quickly and prioritize their own work
  • Proven teamwork experience while working with design, marketing, technology and company leaders
  • Excellent presentation skills, strong communication skills and amazing interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization

What’ll Make You Special

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project
  • General knowledge of internet technologies, social media, SEO, email, design techniques, TV and video production
