What You'll Do/Need

The Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Leader helps mold our centralized 50-state, industry-leading operations platform using Lean Manufacturing Principles and practices. This dynamic leader will build a team and evangelize Lean Principles into every aspect of our operations.



  • Build and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout our operations
  • Ensure successful kaizen events by ensuring compliance with the kaizen process
  • Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business
  • Champion the identification and implementation of opportunities to improve process efficiency
  • Design and perform operational analysis of business processes; drive and track these projects to successful completion
  • Develop and apply sophisticated quantitative and qualitative analyses to produce actionable insights
  • Develop new metrics and monitoring systems (controls and scorecards) to increase understanding of business performance and ensure lasting benefits
  • Identify and leverage best practices across the company
  • Develop predictive tools and responsive workflows to proactively identify defects within existing logistics strategy
  • Take big-picture ideas and break them into actionable steps, own processes end to end and constantly seek to improve them



  • Seven years of professional experience with an emphasis on delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency applying Lean Principles
  • Experience creating and implementing continuous improvement programs
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented leadership style with the ability to also see the big picture
  • Courageous and strategic thinker who thinks big and isn’t afraid to break stuff
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong training and influencing skills
  • High adaptability to change and the ability to execute quickly
  • Ability to drive analytical projects to completion with minimal direction
  • Experience with the following tools: Work Standardization, 5S Systems, Waste Identification, Error Proofing, Five Whys, Just in Time Systems, Pull Systems, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis
