What You'll Do/Need

Position Summary

In this newly created position, the Associate HR Business Partner will be an integral part of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team and day-to-day operations, including developing and running HR programs and initiatives, owning special projects, providing confidential and administrative support, and representing the HR Team through companywide communications.


Position Responsibilities


  • Own Bedrock's new-hire orientation process, including:Coordination with IT and Operations for logistics
    •  Updating the new-hire orientation presentation
    • Creation of new-hire packets
    • New-hire desk setup
    • Conducting new-hire orientation
    • Managing the new-hire shadow schedule and facilitation
    • Designing and managing the new-hire assimilation program
  • Manage and assist in the execution of multiple special projects and initiatives under the HRBP pillar, including but not limited to:
    • Bedrock Leadership Office Hours
    • Human Resources Town Halls
    • Outlet Survey Action Planning
    • Bedrock Rewards and Recognition Program
    • Bedrock Wellness Initiative Program
    • Bedrock Lunch and Learns
  • Support Bedrock's retention initiatives by developing stronger exit interview plans and conducting analytic deep dives to provide recommendations for improvement to the HR leadership team
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing, Communications and IT teams to assist in the management of Bedrock's internal communications
  • Support the development and implementation of trainings and education rollouts
  • Conduct audits of HR-related policies and procedures, including the handbook, to ensure they are updated and in alignment with the most up-to-date labor laws, etc.
  • Collaborate with peer coordinators and administrators to jointly support company goals
  • Provide administrative support for Bedrock the HRBP team, including but not limited to:
  • Entering team member change forms
  • Team member file management
  • Drafting companywide communications
  • Scheduling meetings for the HRBP team as needed for projects, company programs, etc.
  • Preparing decks, process workflows, agendas, etc.
  • Managing Bedrock's human resources inbox
  • Facilitating and tracking applicable HR team member initiatives such as team member reimbursements, recognition rewards and gifts, the attendance point system, etc.

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources management or a related field
  • HR certification(s) preferred
  • 3 years of proven experience at the HR coordinator or specialist level
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; experience with Visio preferred
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience effectively handling sensitive and difficult scenarios while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while still being agile and adaptable
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Experience and comfort working independently in a fast-paced and empowered environment
