    What You'll Do/Need

    The Senior Research Specialist will work closely with the team members across the Quicken Loans Family of Companies to use research and consumer understanding to identify impactful insights into multiple business areas and develop data-driven strategies that grow our business.



    • Work closely with business leads, internal teams and research team members to identify research needs and help clarify project objectives
    • As a subject-matter expert, provide recommendations to business stakeholders through strategic analysis of data
    • Utilize custom and secondary research to develop enterprise competitive insights that can inform brand strategy and campaign development
    • Collaborate with company leadership, marketing and product strategy to set appropriate goals and results measurements for key company initiatives
    • Provide recommendations to business stakeholders through strategic analysis of data
    • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of business success drivers, industry and regulatory trends, and the competitive marketplace intelligence
    • Use research data to guide the development of strategy for product development, marketing and client engagement


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5 years of experience in research, market research or UX research
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Significant experience using research data as key source of strategy development
    • Ability to think creatively and analytically
    • Ability to solve problems and lead teams toward a goal by setting direction and vision
    • In-depth knowledge of research methodologies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and effectively deliver detailed and complicated information
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities

    What’ll Make You Special

    • Master’s degree
    • Completion of market research and/or finance coursework
    • Proficiency with Qualtrics and/or user testing
    • 1 year of financial services industry experience
    • Ability to conduct deeper statistical analysis using SPSS or other statistics-based platforms
    • Marketing strategy/brand planning experience in an agency setting
